“Wherever I look throughout the day, I see genuine smiles and gratitude.  I find myself admiring the five other WGIRLS tirelessly and graciously connecting with our guests – smoothing on a face mask, carefully crimping hair, making tea, blowing bubbles with an excited gaggle of children.

Together – the women and children of Solace and the WGIRLS – did a good a thing. We gave each other the gift of presence – a true act of kindness”

Carson’s Canine Wish

“I am the mom of 6 year old Carson Bard. Carson has multiple medical diagnosis as well as Autism. In the summer of 2010 he was approved for a service dog that would be trained in tracking, stability, and behavior modification. As wonderful as it was to be approved we would have to come up with the funds to get the dog. We worried that it would take a long time to get him the needed help. That is where WGIRLS came in. They heard about our son’s story and called us. There are not enough words to say Thank You!!! Just knowing that our son will have this special dog that is trained in so many area’s gives us a little peace of mind! This dog will not only help Carson in his daily life, but, it will help our whole family as we try and help Carson over come many medical obstacles as well as life with High Functioning Autism. The impact you have made on us is huge!!! You have helped change our lives forever!”

“PLAYING THE FIELD FOR MIRACLES” WGIRLS Milwaukee 2nd Annual Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction

I want to echo Casey’s comments and thank the entire WGIRLS organization for your incredible dedication to the community, production of last night’s events, and support of The Miracle League of Milwaukee. We are touched by your group’s goodwill and moved by your enthusiastic support for our efforts. Thanks to last night’s event we are now much close to seeing a true field of dreams built for children in this community who otherwise would not be able to play organized baseball.

“PLAYING THE FIELD FOR MIRACLES” WGIRLS Milwaukee 2nd Annual Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction

We thought the WGIRLS event last night was outstanding! It was so well done, the room was packed, and everyone there clearly had a great time. We couldn’t have been more impressed. There are many great organizations in Milwaukee, but the WGIRLS clearly embodies the true spirit of philanthropy. The Miracle League of Milwaukee is so grateful for the combined time, energy and talents of the women that make up WGIRLS. Many lives have been touched by your efforts. Again, many, many thanks!

Dear WGIRLS

Thank you so much for sponsoring the wonderful event that enabled our girls to get their prom dresses. I have been speaking to many of the girls and they were very excited to find dresses. It’s very special when people reach out to our students and help.

Thank you again,

Sincerely,

I wanted to send you an email to thank you and your volunteers, the Prom Squad, for putting together an amazing event this past Saturday.  Each and every one of our students left the event with a beautiful gown.

With the economy today, many of our students are not thinking about attending prom because of the cost.  After receiving a dress this past Saturday, attending prom went from being a dream into a reality.

Sincerely,

The girls were elated and really enjoyed the experience. We turned it into our First annual SBP in the city day. We started with a brunch, followed by the free prom dress giveaway and ended with some sites in the city. Thank you and organizers, as some of my girls dreams for prom will come true. Thank you …thank you….thank you….
